§ 1622b. Specialty crops market news allocation
- (a) The Secretary shall—
- (1) carry out market news activities to provide timely price and shipment information of specialty crops in the United States; and
- (2) use funds made available under subsection (b) to increase the reporting levels for specialty crops in effect on the date of enactment of this Act.
- (b) In addition to any other funds made available through annual appropriations for market news services, there is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $9,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2008 through 2023, to remain available until expended.
