§ 9404. Authorization and appropriation of funds

There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Health and Human Services to carry out this chapter—

• (1) $750,000,000 for fiscal year 2001;
• (2) $1,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2002;
• (3) $1,500,000,000 for fiscal year 2003; and
• (4) such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2004 and 2005.
